 OUR HISTORY


OCTO-TEK was a brain-child of a group of young and dynamic entrepreneurs who have been in the ‘Electrical’ business for some considerable years now. They were coincidentally born in the same zodiac sign and are a believer in Chinese traditional ‘feng shui’. They consider number 8 as a lucky number. Hence, the word “OCTO’ came into light.

The word ‘TEK’ on the other hand, came into the concept of the so-called ‘IT’ better known as ‘Information Technology’. These young people believe that their generation today has been rapidly revolutionized and is influenced by the latest technology in information. This is how the word ‘OCTO-TEK ’ came into light. 

While ‘OCTO-TEK’ has been the ‘byword’ of their daily conversations for many years now, it was not until March 15, 2002 that the company was formally registered in the Security and Exchange Commissions by way of Business Registration Certificate, Mayor’s Permit and the like. ‘OCTO-TEK’ which is a ‘partnership’ company has its current registered office at 1871 Felix Huertas Street, Sta. Cruz, Manila. It has an initial capital of Php 1,000,000.00. back to top

After nearly 2 years in operation, our current trend or history of sales (as detailed in the attached spreadsheet) from the time we commenced operation until to-date will speaks for itself as to where the company has achieved so far. In order to maintain or even improved our sales volume, we are also exploring or venturing on tele-marketing strategy to cut operational costs. back to top
